WM. HAROLD BORTHWICK specializes in the representation of life insurance companies and other institutional lenders in secured financing of commercial real estate projects, both existing and to be built, and in foreclosures and workouts of troubles loans. He also counsels investors in real property on purchase, sale, financing, development, and leasing issues.

Mr. Borthwick also specializes in family wealth and succession planning, including the drafting of wills, trusts, and related instruments, probate administration of estate and trusts, and advice regarding lifetime transfer alternatives including available means for charitable giving.
