PARTNER
STEVEN W. BACON handles complex civil litigation for the firm, including most types of business and real property related cases.
Mr. Bacon graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1970 and received his law degree from Stanford Law School in 1973. Mr. Bacon was admitted to the California Bar in 1974 and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, and all federal
trial and appellate courts in the State of California.
Mr. Bacon was formerly the Treasurer and served on the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and he has chaired its Judiciary, Amicus Brief and Audit and Finance Committees. He served on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section from 1994-2000, including a year as its Chair, and also served on the State Bar's Complex Litigation Task Force.
Mr. Bacon is an Honor Roll member and former Director of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors and Board of Governors of Goodwill Industries of Southern California, a member of Rotary Club of Los Angeles, and a member of the Board of Directors of Civic Partnership. He is Assistant Chancellor of the California Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
