RONALD W. NOVOTNY specializes in the field of labor and employment law, representing and advising management in union-employer relations, the defense of employment discrimination and harassment claims, compliance with the state and federal wage and hour laws, the development of compliant employment policies and manuals, and the arbitration of employment and union-related claims.
Mr. Novotny has written a number of published articles in the employment law field, and regularly addresses audiences on employment law topics. He has published articles on retaliation and sexual harassment prevention in the California Lawyer and California Employment Law magazines, and on wage and hour law developments in Compensation and Benefits Review. He has also spoken on the disability and other anti-discrimination laws before the USC Marshall School of Business and National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, of which he is a member. In addition, he edits the firm's quarterly newsletter, Management News.
Mr. Novotny is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the American Bar and California State Bar Associations.
